Our nylon tee-line product is the most dense and hard wearing product available on the market. Designed as a non-sand filled product it can still hold a tee peg anywhere on its surface. It comes in 6 or 12 foot widths by whatever length you desire. It is installed on either a compacted stone or concrete base and is usually installed on a shock pad underlay for softness and extra safety against golf injuries. For protection against the wind it will need to be bolted and/or glued down on a concrete surface and surrounded with some kind of edging when installed on a hard core base.
The same nylon tee line product can be used for winter tees on the golf course especially on shorter par 4 holes and par 3 holes where many golfers will be taking a divot. For longer par 4 and par 5 driving holes a longer fibred sand filled product works very well but it does require more maintenance. Golf clubs that install sand filled tees will need to invest in some extra maintenance equipment in order to ensure that the tees remain in great condition. Properly maintained tees will last for years but if you allow a build-up of dirt within the fibres the surfaces will get too hard and uneven.
We keep a stock of quality driving range mats. Most self-install purchasers of our nets also purchase one of these mats.
